The Warrior Pose Earrings are a celebration of strength and stillness. Inspired by the Akota ear ornaments of tribal Kutch, Gujarat, they carry the quiet power of an amulet, rooted, protective, and enduring. A classic form finished with a hanging jhumka, designed to move with grace.

Antique silver naturally oxidises over time when exposed to oxygen, forming a darkened surface known as patina. This gradual oxidation is what gives vintage and archival silver its depth, contrast, and character.

Each MAABAE piece is intentionally finished using a specialised oxidizer ion process after plating to create this vintage-inspired darkened finish. This process enhances the shadows and textures of the design and gives every piece its antique look. Your jewellery will continue to oxidise naturally over time.

Inspired by the Akota ear ornaments of tribal Kutch, Gujarat, this silhouette draws from a lineage of adornment shaped by protection, migration, and survival. Traditionally worn as amulets, Akota forms were believed to shield the wearer, carrying blessings and resilience as women moved through desert landscapes, daily labor, and ceremony. Jewelry was not separate from life, it guarded it.

The suspended jhumka introduces rhythm and grace, softening strength with movement. Accented with red and green glass stones, long associated with vitality and auspiciousness, each detail is placed with intention.

We reinterpret these archival forms through a modern lens, refining silhouettes with cleaner edges, peeling back ornamentation, and engineering each piece to feel lighter and effortless for everyday wear. The result is a sculptural earring rooted in heritage, designed for the contemporary wardrobe. Bold, grounded, and quietly powerful.
