One day my mother-in-law was visiting and said to me out of nowhere 'Life's a Party, Shake ya Body'. I stood there stunned for a second, and then we giggled.

That phrase now pops up in my mind every so often in a moment of random happiness. The first time I tried on these bangles, I got that same excited feeling and so decided to name them after that giggly moment with my MIL - say hey to the 'Life's a Party Bangles'

Antique silver naturally oxidises over time when exposed to oxygen, forming a darkened surface known as patina. This gradual oxidation is what gives vintage and archival silver its depth, contrast, and character.

Each MAABAE piece is intentionally finished using a specialised oxidizer ion process after plating to create this vintage-inspired darkened finish. This process enhances the shadows and textures of the design and gives every piece its antique look. Your jewellery will continue to oxidise naturally over time.

Our design language is rooted in this idea. Inspired by the heritage of archival silver and reimagining it through a modern lens for today’s wardrobe.
